“Anahata is truly a hidden paradise of Floyd County. Lush grounds running down to the beautiful Little River offer both the wild and the delightfully landscaped. The position of Grounds Manager demands creativity and love of this role as well as a desire to find areas that need extra love. I was daily rewarded for my efforts with the river and fly-fishing for it’s elusive smallmouth bass.” – Nikita L., Grounds Manager 2017

“I interned at Anahata for about a month, and loved it! The work was nice and varied, sometimes working on the farm and other times working on a project that needed to be done in the community. The community was very welcoming and I was able to attend their meetings- I learned a lot about what it takes to maintain an intentional community. Also, the host couple is incredible! Ashera makes delicious dinners and is so sweet and loving. And Luke is a kind of “holy man” with tons of energy and always willing to have a meaningful conversation. I really enjoyed my stay there and hope to visit again, soon!” Katherine M, Intern 2017
